has been committed to the education arena since 1990 when he converted non-traditionally from the ranks of the engineering field. He has since served as a secondary and college level mathematics instructor, secondary science teacher, assistant principal, principal, and educational consultant for a national education reform organization. He currently serves as an associate dean in the Department of Education Studies at Ashford University in San Diego, California. He has earned a BA in Mathematics from Cheyney University, a MS in Mathematics from Liberty University, a MEd in Educational Leadership from York College, and PhD in Education with an emphasis in Education Administration from Capella University. dR.newt's
research interests lie within urban education focusing on the systemic thinking tied to student achievement and effective school cultures in inner-city settings.
dR.newt has committed his life's work to educating, motivating, and helping others grow. He has provided hundreds of wisdom-filled motivational messages, developed leadership trainings for both corporate and community-based organizations, written dozens of academic publications that edify at-potential learners and those that educate them.
